Galapagos Hotels - no sea-legs required!
The traditional way to visit the Galapagos Islands is to take a cruise, where you stay on board a yacht and travel around the various islands. However, another option which is becoming more and more popular is to base yourself in a hotel on the Galapagos Islands of Santa Cruz or San Cristobal, and to travel out to the other islands on day trips from there.
Staying in a Galapagos hotel gives you the chance to return home each night to a room, rather than a cabin, and of course gives you the choice of a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops in the evenings.
As well as day-trips to the other islands, both Santa Cruz and San Cristobal have a wealth of interesting wildlife of their own, and some lovely beaches to relax on. If you're not sure that your sea-legs are up to several days at sea, then this could be the perfect option for you...
We work with a wide variety of hotels in the Galapagos Islands, from the simple charms of the Hotel Maino, to the opulent luxury of the Royal Palm hotel - the doyen of Galapagos hotels.
