If you are planning an Ecuador holiday in the next few weeks you should be advised that Ecuador is currently experiencing some of the heaviest rains it has seen for 20 years. November-March is always the rainy season in the mountains but this year has seen torrential downpours in several of the central and northern provinces, causing widespread displacement of people, and closure of railway lines.
We're happy to say that so far all of our customers holidays in Ecuador have been unaffected so far, and where necessaary we will make alternative travel arrangements - for example customers wishing to take the Devil's Nose train between Riobamba and Alausi will be taken by private car instead.
You should also note that holidays in the Galapagos have not been particularly affected by the current storms and February in the islands is shaping up nicely so far! We will keep all our customers and website visitors up-to-date as and when we receive new information.
